Unseen Growing

Fall is such a rich season, full of color, change, and anticipation. The leaves start to turn, the air gets a little crisper, and everything feels like it's slowing down just enough to breathe a little deeper.

This season reminds me of how God is constantly working, even in the “in between” moments. Just like trees quietly prepare for winter by shedding their leaves, I see our kids doing the same kind of unseen growing. A quiet prayer during snack time. A question in class that shows they’re thinking deeply. A visitor who finds a friend. These little moments are like seeds planted that will bloom in God’s perfect time.

In Galatians 6:9, Paul writes, “Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.” As we head into fall together, may we remember that the spiritual seeds we're planting (in our kids, our families, our neighbors) will grow. Let’s keep showing up, trusting God, and watching for the harvest.

Thank you, church family, for being part of that planting.
