A Blessing for High School Seniors

As we celebrate our High School Seniors this season, we also recognize that graduation is more than a ceremony—it’s a transition into a brand-new chapter of life. There is excitement, anticipation, and maybe even a little uncertainty about what comes next. Whether heading off to college, starting a job, entering the military, or simply figuring out the next step, one truth remains the same: God goes with you. In Joshua 1:9, we are reminded, “Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or discouraged. For the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.”

No matter where life leads, you will never walk alone. God’s presence is not limited by distance, new surroundings, or changing seasons.

To our seniors and their families, know that this church is incredibly proud of you. We have watched these students grow, learn, serve, laugh, worship, and become the young men and women they are today. While this season brings change, it does not change the love and support that surrounds you. Deuteronomy 31:8 says, “Do not be afraid or discouraged, for the Lord will personally go ahead of you. He will be with you; he will neither fail you nor abandon you.” What a comfort to know that before any senior steps into a classroom, workplace, or new city, God is already there preparing the way.

And as you step into this next season, remember that your church family is still cheering you on. This will always be a place where you are loved, prayed for, and welcomed home. We are thankful for each of our graduates and excited to see how God will continue to work in and through their lives. Congratulations, Seniors—we are praying for you, believing in you, and trusting that God has great things ahead.
