Trusting Jesus In a Wild World

This year at VBS, our theme has been “Trusting Jesus in a Wild World.” We’ve been helping kids learn that no matter what they face in life, they can trust Jesus. Through every Bible story, every worship song, every activity, and crew conversation, we’ve been pointing hearts toward Him.

We live in a wild world. It’s full of uncertainty, noise, and change. But Jesus doesn’t ask us to navigate it alone. He invites us to trust Him:

When we feel alone, like the lost sheep, He reminds us that we are known and pursued.

When we feel powerless, like the Roman officer watching his servant suffer, He shows us that His authority is greater than our fear.

When we need hope, the cross and the resurrection remind us that Jesus brings life from even the darkest places.

Whether you’re a parent, a leader, or a child, Jesus meets you right where you are. He doesn't need us to have it all figured out. He simply asks us to follow Him, step by step, through the wilderness.

So, as we wrap up this week of wonder and worship, take heart:

You have a True North.

You have a Savior who can be trusted.

And you have a mission — to follow Him, even in a wild world.
