Find God, Find Peace
This week at church camp my class is called “Find God, Find Peace”. It’s a simple phrase, but it speaks to a deep truth we all need - whether we’re sitting around a campfire or juggling a dozen responsibilities back home. Peace isn’t found in a perfect situation. It’s not when the to-do list is empty or the kids are finally quiet or the bills are paid. Peace is found in the presence of God.
At camp, we’re teaching our students that when life feels loud, stressful, or uncertain, they can turn their attention to the One who offers stillness for their souls. Philippians 4:7 says, “And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”
That promise isn’t just for campers, it’s for you too. Right in the middle of your week, your chaos, your worry. You don’t have to search far and wide. God is near, and His peace is available.
So take a deep breath. Whisper a prayer. Pause long enough to be still. Because when you find God …you really do find peace.
